November 20, 2015:
inspector text has been tested with the Excel 2016 (32-bit). It worked perfectly, with no problems of any kind.

Although inspector text works with 32-bit Excel 2016, it will need to be updated to work with 64-bit Excel 2016.

September 14, 2015:
inspector text has been tested with Windows 10. It worked perfectly, with no problems of any kind.

inspector text has been tested with Windows 8.1. It worked perfectly, with no problems of any kind.

July 12, 2013:
inspector text has been tested with Excel 2013 (32-bit). It worked perfectly, with no problems of any kind.

Although inspector text works with 32-bit Excel 2013, it will need to be updated to work with 64-bit Excel 2013.

inspector text has been tested with the Excel 2010 beta (32-bit). It worked perfectly, with no problems of any kind.

May 15, 2009:
inspector text 2.0.2 is released. inspector text 2.0.2 fixes a bug reported today where if Excel was started by opening an Excel workbook that had a file-open password, inspector text returned error 50290.

inspector text 2.0.2 is a free upgrade on request for owners of inspector text 2.x.

The Free Edition has been upgraded to version 2.0.2.

March 26, 2009:
inspector text 2.0.1 is released. inspector text 2.0.1 fixes a bug reported today where under some circumstances, itFUZZYMATCH and itFUZZYCOMPARE would not complete all submatch passes, resulting in a lower fuzzy comparison score.

Version 2.0.1 is a free upgrade for version 2.0 users on request. Versions earlier than 2.0 are not affected because they did not have the affected functions.

inspector text has been tested with the final release versions of Excel 2007 and Windows Vista. It worked perfectly, with no problems of any kind.

Version 1.5 now available on request. It's a free upgrade for 1.x owners. Free Editions can also be upgraded to 1.5.

Version 1.5 adds six new functions:

A bug has been reported and confirmed: sometimes Excel hangs when starting after inspector text has been installed. Does not appear to happen on Excel 2003.
